Have you ever noticed that every other late model (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) Chevrolet Tahoe seems to have its Daytime Running Light (DRL) bulb burnt out?
Not surprising this is the case as dealers charge a couple hundred dollars to change these bulbs…why? The boys at CarCareKiosk have put together a video explaining how to change the headlight, highbeam, DRL and turn signal bulbs on a Tahoe and it involves removing the grille and taking the bumper halfway off!
- Remove bolts…seems easy enough
- Remove plastic wheel well lining…a little trickier!
- Remove bolts that secure bumper to the frame…getting tough…
- Pull out the housing…boom…that’s it!
A lot easier is simply to watch the free step-by-step video for changing the bulbs here: http://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2008_Chevrolet_Avalanche_LT_5.3L_V8/lights/daylight_running
